Introduction¶
From a OU-SHE/OU-PHZ catalogue DpdWLShearCatalog, 2D-MASS-WL will provide the following output products:
E/B modes on small patches (noisy maps, monte carlo maps, noise standard deviation maps, weighted density maps and the denoised maps).
E/B modes for the most massive clusters of the output cluster catalogue (noisy maps, noise standard deviation maps, weighted density maps and the denoised maps).
E/B modes on the full sky (noisy maps, noise standard deviation maps, weighted density maps and the denoised maps).
E/B modes on small patches¶
For the production of convergence maps for small fields, an input DpdWLShearCatalog FITS catalogue collecting information from OU-SHE/OU-PHZ is needed, as well as a set of parameters DpdTwoDMassParamsConvergencePatch specifying the location of the patches and running parameters. The noisy/denoised convergence maps and noise standard deviation maps are then obtained after projection of the input region, located on the sphere, and collected in DpdTwoDMassConvergencePatch. Optionnally, a coverage mask DpdHealpixEffectiveCoverageVMPZ can be provided to forward the mask onto the patch. The definition of tomographic bins can also be provided via DpdTomographicBins to fill redshift bins bound in the FITS header (ZMIN and ZMAX keywords).
E/B modes for cluster studies¶
For the production of convergence maps for clusters studies, a catalogue DpdLE3FullDet of optical clusters with centre position, radius and richness is used as input as well as a set of parameters DpdTwoDMassParamsConvergenceClusters and an input DpdWLShearCatalog FITS catalogue. The output product is a DpdTwoDMassConvergenceClusters containing FITS data arrays with as HDUs the noisy/denoised convergence maps, a map containing the total galaxy weight per pixel and a noise standard deviation map for a patch centred on each detected and sufficiently massive cluster.
E/B modes on the full sky¶
For the production of full-sky maps, an input DpdWLPosShearCatalog FITS catalogue collecting information from OU-SHE/OU-PHZ is needed, as well as a set of parameters DpdTwoDMassParamsConvergenceSphere specifying the HEALPix resolution and other running parameters. The product DpdTwoDMassConvergenceSphere contains as products computed on the sphere (HEALPix maps) the noisy/denoised convergence maps, the total galaxy weight per pixel, Monte-Carlo realisations and noise standard deviation maps. Optionnally, a coverage mask DpdHealpixEffectiveCoverageVMPZ can be provided to forward the mask onto the sphere. The definition of tomographic bins can also be provided via DpdTomographicBins to fill redshift bins bound in the FITS header (ZMIN and ZMAX keywords).
