Detailed description of the data product

The Master Dark Calibration Pipeline result, containing the dark current and the straylight per pixel, calculated from a set of dark calibration exposures. Dark are taken shutter closed with an integration time of 325s.

Name of file:

EUC_VIS_MSR-DRK_[ExposureTime]__[YYYYMMDDThhmmss.s]Z.fits

where the date is the production date.

The straylight changes according to the orientation of the spacecraft (alpha angle and solar aspect angle). For now, the selection of dark for the production of this product does not take this angle into account.

The output results is a FITS file with 144 extension, one per quadrant.

For now (PF-17), exposure are not dark substracted and so not corrected of the straylight.

The master dark pipeline is also used to produce cosmetic flagmaps (hot pixel). The Flagmap data format is defined in the data model here and is described in Vis Flag Map Product.
