Detailed description of the data product¶
VIS zero-point product is a dictionary in a JSON file containing the photometric zero point computed on the whole VIS FPA and its standard deviation.
The JSON file also contains the value of the aperture correction and its error.
The zero point is computed using a spectrophotometric standards present in the self calibration field. It is computed at each Selfcal visit for monitoring and validation.
This product is used in SExtractor to produce Vis Calibrated Catalogue Product.
The product can also be field by the on the fly zero point. It is the zero point calculated by the processing pipeline by comparing stars to Gaia. In this case, the field present in the JSON file can change. For instance, a polynomial model was been created to take into account that the ice will appear at a faster rate than the selfcal visits between the two decontaminations.
